First, I start seeing a tall blue-skinned and tall man from the corner of my eye and I dont think much of it i think it is stress. That man keeps getting closer and now I see him in the door frames or on the corners. He whispers to me terrible things. I tell my mum and she tells me it's stress. Later on, this while this man gains power someone (who I think is my mum, not my real mum) asks this man(he exists apart from being a devil he is a real person in my dream) about the vase that got me haunted(demonic man gave it to my either by himself or via someone else) and he understands that my mum knows about it. She learns his full name and I think I can beat him but there is no hope. He keeps getting stronger and he shouts at me at everything I do esp. Eating he always says why did you eat without my permission. There are 2 women and a man in my dream but I don't remember how they came to my dream. Those girls help me hide away from him but he finds me eventually. That man is a friend of real life him in my dream and he tries to help me too. In the end, because the demonic man doesn't want to fight with his friend over the 3 of us me and 2 girls he asks his friend to marry one of us. I'm almost sure that he would choose me but he doesn't so I get my phone to talk to him but it is broken then i feel helpless and in despair. Then the dream ends. (Now that I'm wide awake because I feel so scared that my heart is in my mouth, that demonic thing looks like a mixture of Nosferatu and Babadook i don't know why)
Dreams often serve as a mirror reflecting our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Your dream appears to be rich with symbolism, exploring themes of fear, control, and the struggle for empowerment amid adversity. Let's break down some of the key elements of your dream for deeper interpretation.
The Tall Blue-Skinned Man: This figure may represent an overwhelming stressor in your life. Blue often symbolizes feelings of calm or sadness, but in this case, it’s mixed with the appearance of menace. The fact that he is tall and looming suggests an overpowering presence—perhaps a specific fear or anxiety that you feel is dominating your life. As he whispers terrible things to you, it reflects negative self-talk or internalized criticism that you may be facing.
Your Mother’s Reaction: Your mother in the dream likely symbolizes a source of comfort, guidance, and protection. Her dismissal of your fears as mere stress could reflect feelings of being misunderstood or unsupported in your waking life. This moment could suggest a tension between paternal figures or authority and your own experiences or emotions.
The Vase: Objects in dreams, like the vase that is claimed to be haunted, often represent memories or unresolved issues. The vase could symbolize something fragile in your life—perhaps an emotional memory or a past event that still causes you pain or fear. The fact that the demonic man provided it signifies that these past traumas are inextricably linked to your current struggles.
The Demonic Man’s Power: His growing strength could suggest that your fears or stressors are escalating, becoming more challenging to confront. The fact that he shouts at you regarding your basic actions, like eating, implies that you're feeling restricted in your life. It could symbolize feelings of guilt or insecurity in your everyday decisions, where you might feel that your autonomy is under threat.
The Two Women and the Man: These characters may represent allies or support systems in your life. They try to help you hide from the threat but ultimately, the demonic man finds you. This could illustrate feelings of isolation within your support network or the struggle to escape overwhelming anxiety despite assistance from friends or loved ones.
Marrying the Friend: The culmination of this intense scenario with a marriage proposal introduces complex emotions about relationships and loyalty. The demonic man's suggestion can symbolize how you feel that your struggles negatively impact your relationships or choices. Your expectation that he would choose you can indicate a longing for validation and connection but also the painful awareness that things do not often go as we hope.
Broken Phone: This final symbol perhaps represents a feeling of helplessness in communication—feeling unable to reach out for help when it’s most needed or feeling disconnected from supportive figures. The despair of a broken phone suggests that you may feel isolated in your hardships, amplifying your struggles in waking life.
Imagery of Nosferatu and Babadook: These figures embody deep-rooted fears—Nosferatu is often associated with the fear of the unknown, and the Babadook represents unresolved grief. Their merging in your dream could signal a confluence of fears, suggesting that your anxieties are multifaceted and deeply embedded within your subconscious.
In summary, your dream reflects a battle against overwhelming stress, feelings of inadequacy, and the fear of losing control of your life and relationships. It indicates a deep-seated struggle with self-esteem and external pressure while yearning for understanding and connection in the face of emotional turmoil. Based on this dream, consider ways to confront and address the fears and stressors currently affecting you. Seeking support from trusted friends, loved ones, or even a mental health professional could be beneficial—just as the characters in your dream tried to assist and protect you.
